1 وَلَا And (there is) no اور نہیں 2 جُنَاحَ blame کوئی گناہ 3 عَلَيْكُمْ upon you تم پر 4 فِـيْمَا in what اس معاملے میں جو 5 عَرَّضْتُمْ you hint اشارہ کیا تم نے۔ آگے تم پیش کرتے ہو 6 بِهٖ [with it] ساتھ اس کے 7 مِنْ of سے 8 خِطْبَةِ marriage proposal منگنی کو 9 النِّسَاۗءِ [to] the women عورتوں سے ۔ عورتوں کی منگنی کے بارے میں 10 اَوْ or یا 11 اَكْنَنْتُمْ you concealed it چھپایا تم نے۔ چھپاتے ہو تم 12 فِيْٓ in میں 13 اَنْفُسِكُمْ yourselves اپنے نفسوں میں 14 عَلِمَ Knows جان لیا۔ معلوم ہے 15 اللّٰهُ Allah اللہ نے۔ اللہ کو 16 اَنَّكُمْ that you بیشک تم 17 سَتَذْكُرُوْنَهُنَّ will mention them ضرور تم یاد کرو گے ان کو 18 وَلٰكِنْ [and] but اور لیکن 19 لَّا (do) not نہ 20 تُوَاعِدُوْھُنَّ promise them (widows) تم باھم وعدہ کرو ان سے 21 سِرًّا secretly چھپ کر۔ پوشیدہ طور پر 22 اِلَّآ except مگر 23 اَنْ that یہ کہ 24 تَقُوْلُوْا you say تم کہو 25 قَوْلًا a saying بات 26 مَّعْرُوْفًا honorable بھلی 27 وَلَا And (do) not اور نہ 28 تَعْزِمُوْا resolve (on) تم عزم کرو 29 عُقْدَةَ the knot گرہ کا 30 النِّكَاحِ (of) marriage نکاح کی 31 حَتّٰي until یہاں تک کہ 32 يَبْلُغَ reaches پہنچ جائے 33 الْكِتٰبُ the prescribed term کتاب۔ لکھا ہوا 34 اَجَلَهٗ its end اپنی مدت کو 35 وَاعْلَمُوْٓا And know اور جان لو 36 اَنَّ that بیشک 37 اللّٰهَ Allah اللہ 38 يَعْلَمُ knows جانتا ہے 39 مَا what اس کو جو 40 فِىْٓ (is) within میں 41 اَنْفُسِكُمْ yourselves تمہارے نفسوں میں ہے 42 فَاحْذَرُوْهُ so beware of Him پس ڈرو اس سے 43 وَاعْلَمُوْٓا And know اور جان لو 44 اَنَّ that بیشک 45 اللّٰهَ Allah اللہ 46 غَفُوْرٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving بخشنے والا 47 حَلِيْمٌ Most Forbearing بردبار ہے
