Verses

وَ لَمَّا جَآءَہُمۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مِّنۡ عِنۡدِ اللّٰہِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَہُمۡ نَبَذَ فَرِیۡقٌ مِّنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡکِتٰبَ ٭ۙ کِتٰبَ اللّٰہِ وَرَآءَ ظُہُوۡرِہِمۡ کَاَنَّہُمۡ لَا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۱﴾۫

And when a messenger from Allah came to them confirming that which was with them, a party of those who had been given the Scripture threw the Scripture of Allah behind their backs as if they did not know [what it contained].

جب کبھی ان کے پاس اللہ کا کوئی رسول ان کی کتاب کی تصدیق کرنے والا آیا ، ان اہل کتاب کے ایک فرقہ نے اللہ کی کتاب کو اس طرح پیٹھ پیچھے ڈال دیا گو جانتے ہی نہ تھے ۔

3 Surat Aal e Imran Open Surah

اِنَّ الدِّیۡنَ عِنۡدَ اللّٰہِ الۡاِسۡلَامُ ۟ وَ مَا اخۡتَلَفَ الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡکِتٰبَ اِلَّا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَہُمُ الۡعِلۡمُ بَغۡیًۢا بَیۡنَہُمۡ ؕ وَ مَنۡ یَّکۡفُرۡ بِاٰیٰتِ اللّٰہِ فَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ سَرِیۡعُ الۡحِسَابِ ﴿۱۹﴾

Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam. And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allah , then indeed, Allah is swift in [taking] account.

بیشک اللہ تعالٰی کے نزدیک دین اسلام ہی ہے اور اہل کتاب اپنے پاس علم آجانے کے بعد آپس کی سرکشی اور حسد کی بناء پر ہی اختلاف کیا ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی کی آیتوں کے ساتھ جو بھی کفر کرے اللہ تعالٰی اس کا جلد حساب لینے والا ہے ۔

5 Surat ul Maeeda Open Surah

یٰۤاَہۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ قَدۡ جَآءَکُمۡ رَسُوۡلُنَا یُبَیِّنُ لَکُمۡ عَلٰی فَتۡرَۃٍ مِّنَ الرُّسُلِ اَنۡ تَقُوۡلُوۡا مَا جَآءَنَا مِنۡۢ بَشِیۡرٍ وَّ لَا نَذِیۡرٍ ۫ فَقَدۡ جَآءَکُمۡ بَشِیۡرٌ وَّ نَذِیۡرٌ ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ قَدِیۡرٌ ﴿٪۱۹﴾  7

O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger to make clear to you [the religion] after a period [of suspension] of messengers, lest you say, "There came not to us any bringer of good tidings or a warner." But there has come to you a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And Allah is over all things competent.

اے اہل کتاب !بالیقیقن ہمارا رسول تمہارے پاس رسولوں کی آمد کے ایک وقفے کے بعد آپہنچا ہے ۔ جو تمہارے لئے صاف صاف بیان کر رہا ہے تاکہ تمہاری یہ بات نہ رہ جائے کہ ہمارے پاس تو کوئی بھلائی ، برائی سنانے والا آیا ہی نہیں ، پس اب تو یقیناً خوشخبری سنانے والا اور آگاہ کرنے والا آپہنچا اور اللہ تعالٰی ہرچیز پر قادر ہے ۔

9 Surat ut Tauba Open Surah

قَاتِلُوا الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰہِ وَ لَا بِالۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ وَ لَا یُحَرِّمُوۡنَ مَا حَرَّمَ اللّٰہُ وَ رَسُوۡلُہٗ وَ لَا یَدِیۡنُوۡنَ دِیۡنَ الۡحَقِّ مِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡکِتٰبَ حَتّٰی یُعۡطُوا الۡجِزۡیَۃَ عَنۡ ‌یَّدٍ وَّ ہُمۡ صٰغِرُوۡنَ ﴿٪۲۹﴾  10

Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.

ان لوگوں سے لڑو جو اللہ پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان نہیں لاتے جو اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی حرام کردہ شے کو حرام نہیں جانتے نہ دین حق کو قبول کرتے ہیں ان لوگوں میں سے جنہیں کتاب دی گئی ہے یہاں تک کہ وہ ذلیل و خوار ہو کر اپنے ہاتھ سے جزیہ ادا کریں ۔

57 Surat ul Hadeed Open Surah

لِّئَلَّا یَعۡلَمَ اَہۡلُ الۡکِتٰبِ اَلَّا یَقۡدِرُوۡنَ عَلٰی شَیۡءٍ مِّنۡ فَضۡلِ اللّٰہِ وَ اَنَّ الۡفَضۡلَ بِیَدِ اللّٰہِ یُؤۡتِیۡہِ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ ذُو الۡفَضۡلِ الۡعَظِیۡمِ ﴿٪۲۹﴾  20

[This is] so that the People of the Scripture may know that they are not able [to obtain] anything from the bounty of Allah and that [all] bounty is in the hand of Allah ; He gives it to whom He wills. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty.

یہ اس لئے کہ اہل کتاب جان لیں کہ اللہ کے فضل کے کسی حصے پر بھی انہیں اختیار نہیں اور یہ کہ ( سارا ) فضل اللہ ہی کے ہاتھ ہے وہ جسے چاہے دے ، اور اللہ ہے ہی بڑے فضل والا ۔

98 Surat ul Bayyina Open Surah

لَمۡ یَکُنِ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا مِنۡ اَہۡلِ الۡکِتٰبِ وَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ مُنۡفَکِّیۡنَ حَتّٰی تَاۡتِیَہُمُ الۡبَیِّنَۃُ ۙ﴿۱﴾

Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence -

اہل کتاب کے کافر اور مشرک لوگ جب تک کہ ان کے پاس ظاہر دلیل نہ آ جائے باز رہنے والے نہ تھے ( وہ دلیل یہ ) تھی کہ ۔
