1 اَلطَّلَاقُ The divorce طلاق 2 مَرَّتٰنِ (is) twice دو مرتبہ ہے 3 فَاِمْسَاكٌۢ Then to retain پھر روک لینا ہے 4 بِمَعْرُوْفٍ in a reasonable manner ساتھ بھلے طریقے کے 5 اَوْ or یا 6 تَسْرِيْحٌۢ to release (her) رخصت کردینا ہے 7 بِاِحْسَانٍ with kindness ساتھ احسان کے 8 وَلَا And (it is) not اور نہیں 9 يَحِلُّ lawful حلال۔ جائز 10 لَكُمْ for you تمہارے لیے 11 اَنْ that کہ 12 تَاْخُذُوْا you take (back) تم لے لو 13 مِمَّآ whatever اس میں سے جو 14 اٰتَيْتُمُوْھُنَّ you have given them (wives) دے دیا ہے تم نے ان کو 15 شَـيْـــًٔـا anything کچھ بھی 16 اِلَّآ except مگر 17 اَنْ if کہ 18 يَّخَافَآ both fear وہ دونوں ڈریں 19 اَلَّا that not کہ نہ 20 يُقِيْمَا they both (can) keep وہ دونوں قائم رکھ سکیں گے 21 حُدُوْدَ (the) limits حدود کو 22 اللّٰهِ (of) Allah اللہ کی 23 فَاِنْ But if پھر اگر 24 خِفْتُمْ you fear اندیشہ ہو تمہیں 25 اَلَّا that not کہ نہ 26 يُقِيْمَا they both (can) keep وہ دونوں قائم رکھ سکیں گے 27 حُدُوْدَ (the) limits حدود کو 28 اللّٰهِ (of) Allah اللہ کی 29 فَلَا then (there is) no تو نہیں 30 جُنَاحَ sin کوئی گناہ 31 عَلَيْھِمَا on both of them ان دونوں پر 32 فِـيْمَا in what اس چیز میں 33 افْتَدَتْ she ransoms جو وہ (عورت) فدیہ دے دے 34 بِهٖ concerning it ساتھ اس کے 35 تِلْكَ These یہ 36 حُدُوْدُ (are the) limits حدود ہیں 37 اللّٰهِ (of) Allah اللہ کی 38 فَلَا so (do) not تو نہ 39 تَعْتَدُوْھَا transgress them تم تجاوز کرنا ان سے 40 وَمَنْ And whoever اور جو 41 يَّتَعَدَّ transgresses تجاوز کرے گا 42 حُدُوْدَ (the) limits حدود 43 اللّٰهِ (of) Allah اللہ کی 44 فَاُولٰۗىِٕكَ then those تو یہی لوگ ہیں 45 ھُمُ they وہ 46 الظّٰلِمُوْنَ (are) the wrongdoers جو ظالم ہیں
