1 وَمَا And not اور نہیں 2 كَانَ is ہے 3 لِمُؤْمِنٍ for a believer کسی مومن کے لیے 4 اَنْ that کہ وہ 5 يَّقْتُلَ he kills قتل کردے 6 مُؤْمِنًا a believer کسی مومن کو 7 اِلَّا except مگر 8 خَطَــــــًٔـا (by) mistake خطا سے 9 وَمَنْ And whoever اور جو کوئی 10 قَتَلَ killed قتل کرے 11 مُؤْمِنًا a believer کسی مومن کو 12 خَطَــــًٔا (by) mistake خطا سے 13 فَتَحْرِيْرُ then freeing تو آزاد کرنا ہے 14 رَقَبَةٍ (of) a slave ایک گردن 15 مُّؤْمِنَةٍ believing مومن کا 16 وَّدِيَةٌ and blood money اور خون بہا 17 مُّسَلَّمَةٌ (is to be) paid جو سپرد کیا گیا۔ جو سپرد کیا جائے 18 اِلٰٓى to طرف 19 اَھْلِهٖٓ his family اس کے اہل کے 20 اِلَّآ unless مگر ۔ ہاں 21 اَنْ that یہ کہ ۔ اگر 22 يَّصَّدَّقُوْا they remit (as) charity وہ صدقہ کردیں 23 فَاِنْ But if پھر اگر 24 كَانَ (he) was ہے 25 مِنْ from سے 26 قَوْمٍ a people قوم سے 27 عَدُوٍّ hostile دشمن 28 لَّكُمْ to you تمہارا 29 وَھُوَ and he was اور وہ 30 مُؤْمِنٌ a believer مومن ہے 31 فَتَحْرِيْرُ then freeing تو آزاد کرنا ہوگا 32 رَقَبَةٍ (of) a believing slave ایک گردن 33 مُّؤْمِنَةٍ believing مومن 34 وَاِنْ And if اور اگر 35 كَانَ (he) was ہے 36 مِنْ from سے 37 قَوْمٍۢ a people ایک قوم 38 بَيْنَكُمْ between you تمہارے درمیان 39 وَبَيْنَھُمْ and between them اور ان کے درمیان 40 مِّيْثَاقٌ (is) a treaty پختہ عہد ہے 41 فَدِيَةٌ then blood money تو خون بہا ادا کرنا 42 مُّسَلَّمَةٌ (is to be) paid سپرد کیا ہوا 43 اِلٰٓى to طرف 44 اَھْلِهٖ his family اس کے اھل کے 45 وَتَحْرِيْرُ and freeing اور آزاد کرنا ہے 46 رَقَبَةٍ (of) a slave ایک گردن کا 47 مُّؤْمِنَةٍ believing مومن 48 فَمَنْ And whoever تو جو کوئی 49 لَّمْ (does) not نہ 50 يَجِدْ find پائے 51 فَصِيَامُ then fasting پس روزے رکھنا 52 شَهْرَيْنِ (for) two months دو ماہ 53 مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ consecutively مسلسل 54 تَوْبَةً (seeking) repentance یہ مہربانی ہے 55 مِّنَ from طرف سے 56 اللّٰهِ Allah اللہ کی 57 وَكَانَ and is اور ہے 58 اللّٰهُ Allah اللہ 59 عَلِــيْمًا All-Knowing علم والا 60 حَكِـيْمًا All-Wise حکمت والا
