1 حُرِّمَتْ Are made unlawful حرام کیا گیا 2 عَلَيْكُمُ on you تم پر 3 الْمَيْتَةُ the dead animals مردار 4 وَالدَّمُ and the blood اور خون 5 وَلَحْمُ and flesh اور گوشت 6 الْخِنْزِيْرِ (of) the swine خنزیر کا 7 وَمَآ and what اور جو 8 اُهِلَّ has been dedicated پکارا گیا 9 لِغَيْرِ to other than واسطے غیر 10 اللّٰهِ Allah اللہ کے 11 بِهٖ [on it] اس کو 12 وَالْمُنْخَنِقَةُ and that which is strangled (to death) اور جو گلا گھٹ کر مرنے والی 13 وَالْمَوْقُوْذَةُ and that which is hit fatally اور جو چوٹ کھا کر مرنے والی 14 وَالْمُتَرَدِّيَةُ and that which has a fatal fall اور جو بلندی سے گر کر مرنے والی 15 وَالنَّطِيْحَةُ and that which is gored by horns اور جو ٹکر کھا کر مرنے والی 16 وَمَآ and that which اور جو 17 كَلَ ate (it) کھائیں 18 السَّبُعُ the wild animal درندے 19 اِلَّا except مگر 20 مَا what جو 21 ذَكَّيْتُمْ you slaughtered ذبح کرلیا تم نے 22 وَمَا and what اور جو 23 ذُبِحَ is sacrificed ذبح کیا گیا 24 عَلَي on پر 25 النُّصُبِ the stone altars آستانوں 26 وَاَنْ and that اور یہ کہ 27 تَسْـتَقْسِمُوْا you seek division تم قسمت معلوم کرو 28 بِالْاَزْلَامِ by divining arrows - تیروں کے ذریعے 29 ذٰلِكُمْ that یہ سب کام 30 فِسْقٌ (is) grave disobedience فسق ہیں۔ نافرمانی ہیں 31 اَلْيَوْمَ This day آج کے دن 32 يَىِٕسَ (have) despaired مایوس ہوگئے 33 الَّذِيْنَ those who وہ لوگ 34 كَفَرُوْا disbelieved جنہوں نے کفر کیا 35 مِنْ of سے 36 دِيْنِكُمْ your religion تمہارے دین 37 فَلَا so (do) not تو نہ 38 تَخْشَوْهُمْ fear them تم ڈرو ان سے 39 وَاخْشَوْنِ but fear Me اور ڈرو مجھ سے 40 اَلْيَوْمَ This day آج 41 كْمَلْتُ I have perfected میں نے مکمل کردیا 42 لَكُمْ for you تمہارے لیے 43 دِيْنَكُمْ your religion تمہارا دین 44 وَاَتْمَمْتُ and I have completed اور میں نے تمام کردی 45 عَلَيْكُمْ upon you تم پر 46 نِعْمَتِيْ My Favor اپنی نعمت 47 وَرَضِيْتُ and I have approved اور میں نے پسند کرلیا 48 لَكُمُ for you تمہارے لیے 49 الْاِسْلَامَ [the] Islam اسلام کو 50 دِيْنًا (as) a religion بطور دین 51 فَمَنِ But whoever تو جو کوئی 52 اضْطُرَّ (is) forced مجبور کیا جائے 53 فِيْ by میں 54 مَخْمَصَةٍ hunger بھوک 55 غَيْرَ (and) not نہ 56 مُتَجَانِفٍ inclining مائل ہونے والا ہو 57 لِّاِثْمٍ to sin گناہ کی طرف 58 فَاِنَّ then indeed تو بیشک 59 اللّٰهَ Allah اللہ 60 غَفُوْرٌ (is) Oft-Forgiving بخشنے والا 61 رَّحِيْمٌ Most Merciful مہربان ہے
