Chapter 84 of Purification (kitab al-taharah) in Sunnan Abu Dawood. Each Hadith below carries its Arabic text, its Urdu and English translation, its number and its grading.
Narrated Ammar ibn Yasir: The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم granted permission to a person who was sexually defiled to eat or drink or sleep after performing ablution. Abu Dawud said: In the chain of this tradition there is a narrator between Yahya bin Ya'mur and Ammar bin Yasir. Ali bin Abi Talib, Ibn Umar and Abdullah bin Amr said: When a person is sexually defiled wants to eat, he should perform ablution.
عمار بن یاسر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جنبی کو رخصت دی ہے کہ جب وہ کھانے پینے یا سونے کا ارادہ کرے تو وضو کر لے۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: یحییٰ بن یعمر اور عمار بن یاسر رضی اللہ عنہما کے درمیان اس حدیث میں ایک اور شخص ہے، علی بن ابی طالب، ابن عمر اور عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہم نے کہا ہے کہ جنبی جب کھانے کا ارادہ کرے تو وضو کرے۔

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: Ghudayf ibn al-Harith reported: I asked Aishah: Have you seen the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم washing (because of defilement) at the beginning of the night or at the end? She replied: Sometimes he would take a bath at the beginning of the night and sometimes at the end. Thereupon I exclaimed: Allah is most Great. All Praise be to Allah Who made this matter accommodative. I again asked her: What do you think, did the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say the witr prayer (additional prayer after obligatory prayer at night) in the beginning of the night or at the end? She replied: Sometimes he would say the witr prayer at the beginning of the night and sometimes at the end. I exclaimed: Allah is most Great. All praise be to Allah Who made the matter accommodative. Again I asked her: What do you think, did the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم recite the Quran (in the prayer) loudly or softly? She replied: Sometimes he would recite loudly and sometimes softly. I exclaimed: Allah is most Great. All praise be to Allah Who made the matter flexible.
غضیف بن حارث کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے کہا: آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو رات کے پہلے حصہ میں غسل جنابت کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے یا آخری حصہ میں؟ کہا: کبھی آپ رات کے پہلے حصہ میں غسل فرماتے، کبھی آخری حصہ میں، میں نے کہا: اللہ اکبر! شکر ہے اس اللہ کا جس نے اس معاملہ میں وسعت رکھی ہے۔ پھر میں نے کہا: آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو رات کے پہلے حصہ میں وتر پڑھتے دیکھا ہے یا آخری حصہ میں؟ کہا: کبھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم رات کے پہلے حصہ میں پڑھتے تھے اور کبھی آخری حصہ میں، میں نے کہا: اللہ اکبر! اس اللہ کا شکر ہے جس نے اس معاملے میں وسعت رکھی ہے۔ پھر میں نے پوچھا: آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو قرآن زور سے پڑھتے دیکھا ہے یا آہستہ سے؟ کہا: کبھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم زور سے پڑھتے اور کبھی آہستہ سے، میں نے کہا: اللہ اکبر! اس اللہ کا شکر ہے جس نے اس امر میں وسعت رکھی ہے۔
Narrated Ali ibn Abu Talib: The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Angels do not enter the house where there is a picture, or a dog, or a person who is sexually defiled.
علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: فرشتے اس گھر میں داخل نہیں ہوتے جس میں تصویر ہو، یا کتا ہو، یا جنبی ہو ۔

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم would sleep while he was sexually defiled without touching water. Abu Dawud said: Hasan bin Ali al-Wasiti said that the heard Yazid bin Harun say: This tradition is based on a misunderstanding, i. e. the tradition reported by Abu Ishaq.
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جنابت کی حالت میں بغیر غسل فرمائے سو جاتے تھے۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: ہم سے حسن بن علی واسطی نے بیان کیا، وہ کہتے ہیں: میں نے یزید بن ہارون کو کہتے سنا کہ یہ حدیث یعنی ابواسحاق کی حدیث وہم ہے ۱؎۔
