مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوۡا مَا عَاہَدُوا اللّٰہَ عَلَیۡہِ ۚ فَمِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ قَضٰی نَحۡبَہٗ وَ مِنۡہُمۡ مَّنۡ یَّنۡتَظِرُ ۫ ۖوَ مَا بَدَّلُوۡا تَبۡدِیۡلًا ﴿ۙ۲۳﴾

Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah . Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration -

مومنوں میں ( ایسے ) لوگ بھی ہیں جنہوں نے جو عہد اللہ تعالٰی سے کیا تھا انہیں سچا کر دکھایا بعض نے تو اپنا عہد پورا کر دیا اور بعض ( موقعہ کے ) منتظر ہیں اور انہوں نے کوئی تبدیلی نہیں کی ۔
