Chapter 99 of General behavior (kitab al-adab) in Sunnan Abu Dawood. Each Hadith below carries its Arabic text, its Urdu and English translation, its number and its grading.
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Abu Hurairah through a different chain from the prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. A transmitter Saeed bin Saeed said: I know him that he traced this tradition back to the prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. Abu Dawud said: Abu Nuaim transmitted it from Musa bin Qais, from Muhammad bin Ajlan, from Saeed, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, from the prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم.
سعید بن ابی سعید ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے اسی مفہوم کی حدیث کو مرفوعاً روایت کرتے ہیں۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اسے ابونعیم نے موسی بن قیس سے، موسیٰ نے محمد بن عجلان سے، ابن عجلان نے سعید سے، سعید نے ابوہریرہ سے، ابوہریرہ نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کیا ہے۔

Narrated Ubayd ibn Rifaah az-Zuraqi: The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Invoke a blessing on one who sneezes three times; (and if he sneezes more often), then if you wish to invoke a blessing on him, you may invoke, and if you wish (to stop), then stop.
عبید بن رفاعہ زرقی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: چھینکنے والے کا جواب تین بار دو اس کے بعد اگر جواب دینا چاہو تو دو، اور نہ دینا چاہو تو نہ دو ۔

Salamah bin al-Akwa said: when a man sneezed beside the prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, he said to him: Allah have mercy on you, but when he sneezed again, he said: The man has a cold in the head.
سلمہ بن الاکوع رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص کو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس چھینک آئی تو آپ نے اس سے فرمایا:«يرحمك الله» اللہ تم پر رحم فرمائے اسے پھر چھینک آئی تو آپ نے فرمایا: آدمی کو زکام ہوا ہے ۔
